What we do
Panafrican Air Services is specialized in air logistic solutions for various customers who require aviation support in the field of mining, oil and gas operations and energy powerline installation (including MEDEVAC).
We deliver fast, cost effective, and reliable air transportation solutions in the MEFA area.
We operate a fleet of heavy utility rotary wing aircraft perfectly suited and fully integrated for your needs.

Passenger
Flight safety and comfort are our main concerns for the passengers.
- passenger capacity : up to 19 ;
- type of seats: installed in the direction of flight or fold-up seats ;
- carry-on baggage per passenger : 10 kg ;
- luggage in the separate luggage bay : 320 kg.
All passenger seats are equipped with seat belts, oxygen tanks and soundproof headsets sanitized after each use.
Cargo
Our helicopter is able to carry cargo weighing up to 4 tons inside the cargo bay. The passenger cabin can be very quickly converted into a cargo bay. A suited fastening system ensures trustworthy anchoring of cargo.
Cargo bay :
- Dimensions: 5.34 m x 2.32 m ;
- Maximum weight of cargo : 4000 kg.

We are available to conduct aerial medical evacuation 24/7/365.
Medical configuration fitted onboard :
– Medical module with a comprehensive set of modern medical equipment
– Stretchers for bedridden patients (three to six)
– External hoist 300 Kg
- The following equipment forms part of the medical module:
- Scoop stretcher with vacuum mattress and patient warming system
- Portable intensive care transport respirator
- Equipment for monitoring blood pressure, temperature and blood oxygen levels
- Artificial respiration bag with vacuum pumps and demand valve
- Defibrillator, external pacemakers, syringe pumps, and pressure infusion bags
- Medical oxygen
- Emergency rucksack

Panafrican Air Services comprehensive maintenance cell ensures airworthiness of its aircraft and keep their air fleet operational 24/7/365 worldwide.
Our Company is serviced by a team of highly skilled experts who perform scheduled maintenance and replacement of assemblies when required by factory maintenance schedules.
Panafrican Air Services Logistics cell ensures timely delivery of tools, assemblies and spare parts, as well as a necessary rotation of technical staff including OPS Managers always deployed on the ground.
